Public bug reported: When I did an upgrade from 06.06 to 06.10, I got the following bad behaviour - a popup came up (screen shot attached) complaining about 'nice value must be between -19 and 20'. Clicking 'next' made it just reappear. I hit cancel, and got a segfault.
