Referring to the initial report - it would seem like there has been some implicit fixes since that uname (i.e 2.6.24-17) and the current current distribution pushed through APT:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ uname -a Linux planke 2.6.24-20-generic #1 SMP Mon Jul 28 13:06:07 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux I no longer have a problem with "modprobe ssb" (I think), however booting with the powercable attached will sometimes hang at "loading local drivers". Attached is the "dmesg" output after a successful boot *with* the powercable attached. I'll reboot without the cable attached and put up the output of dmesg then aswell. I'm not sure whether or not it is possible to grab any of the output/logs when the boot process hangs at "loading local drivers". Thanks. ** Attachment added: "DMESG output after successful boot with powercable attached." http://launchpadlibrarian.net/16699169/dmesg.227634.txt -- HP 6715b (bcm4312 rev02) booting with power cable attached makes "modprobe ssb" hang https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/227634 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
