I was able to reproduce this bug, but it doesn't seem to be a Thunderbird or KDE specific problem as it also occured in Firefox when uploading a file or in Gimp, Geany or gedit when opening one (I am using Gnome). Firefox just uploads an empty file and Gimp doesn't even close the "open file" dialog after pressing Open (is this the right behaviour?), Geany and gedit try to open the "wrong" file. So it seems that this is a general issue concerning the "open file" dialog.
Sadly, I am not sure what to assign this bug to. It definitly isn't a pure thunderbird bug. -- Mozilla Thunderbird does not correctly interpret drag'n'dropped file addresses https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/116487 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is subscribed to kdebase in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
