After I restarted networking (networking stop, ifconfig eth0 down,
networking start, kill dhclient) ipv6 worked for a few hours. now it
doesn't again:

One thing that has changed though, is that before on hardy I used:

net.ipv6.conf.default.accept_ra = 0

I seem to remember that I've seen that there was an error message at
bootup regarding this. I don't want the linux box to use RA, but
everything else should. I don't think this is related though...
