Binary package hint: libtiff4
After upgrading to libtiff4_3.8.2-7ubuntu3.1_i386, I found that Gnome
panel was broken. Left-clicking on quick-launch icons or drop-down menus
in Gnome panel, or anything in the taskbar was ineffective (no programs
launched or menus displayed or desktops switched). Only clicking on some
applets was OK (for example the Gnome system monitor applet, or network
configuration applet). Installing an older version of libtiff solved
this problem.
