Hi folks, I am a happy user of GCStar and I would really like to see the latest version in the next Ubuntu release (Jaunty). As I understand it from the Ubuntu WIKI, packages are automatically pulled from Debian until a certain date. The latest version in Debian is however the same version as the one present in Hardy.
I would like to contribute to Ubuntu. Creating an updated package for GCStart could be one way of doing this. Should I create a new package following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PackagingGuide/Recipes/PackageUpdate and seek sponsorship for that? Or is there another preferred way to do this? -- Jonas Pedersen - jonas - at - jope.eu / http://chown.dk Online picture gallery at http://pictureshow.dk -- Ubuntu-devel-discuss mailing list Ubuntu-devel-discuss@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-devel-discuss
