(Adding ubuntu-mobile mailing list) Well, after snooping around I found that there was already a launchpad project for python-osso that was pulling in changes from the maemo repository.
https://code.launchpad.net/python-osso I don't know if i did this correctly, but i created a branch and then added my changes to allow the package to build on a gutsy machine, and then pushed the branch too: https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-mobile/python-osso/ubuntu I can checkout the code just fine, and the branch automatically shows up in the original python-osso LP page and also in the ~ubuntu-mobile page, but the branch page has an error that says: "Launchpad could not mirror this branch 14 minutes ago.
