OK. Understood but its disappointing that UME turns out to be 'UME for Q1
Ultra' on first release. It would have been so nice for R2H, Q1 owners to
get the benefit of a streamlined OS and for HTC Shift and Kohjinsha/VyePC
owners too. Im certainly not unhappy becuase I understand that you're
working slightly ahead of the product releases and. Intel's focus is on
Menlow devices and Canonical focus is probably on demonstrating their mobile
OS skills to OEMs for work in 2008. Its a good step forward and great
opportunity for you all but as a consumer of UMPCs you probably undertand
that I was looking forward to having UME running in my UMPC life ASAP! As a
promoter I was also looking forward to testing and seeing how this OS could
best fit with consumers too but I doubt that will happen either as I don't
have a Q1 Ultra for long term testing. If any of the team/Intel wants to
send a pre-built Q1 Ultra for testing and review just before launch, i'll be
happy to take it on in the portal though.

Good luck with the rest of the project. My SH6 is back in my hands now and
i'll give it some time with UME this week.
