We are consistently seeing an issue when systems are powered down where the
disk image, installed or USB live, can no longer boot properly. We are
definitely seeing this on the Compal design and on the Crownbeach. I cannot
say I hve seen it on the Q1s.

Is anyone else seeing this problem, or does anyone have any theories. I
suspect it has to do with the combination of unionfs, squashfs and ext3. In
my experience using ext3 alone I never saw this condition.

I'm thinking this is a valid scenario since MIDs will typically get a hard
off with the power button.

Thanks,

Pat
