I would like to create the proper configs to prepare images for Sony
Vaio C1MHP.

Which configs do I have to alter in order to adapt it to my chipsets?
And how best to share these configs, so they can be integrated into the
image-creator package.

Good, small footprint distros are a rare commodity these days. That's
why Ubuntu-Mobile will fill this gap even if it was not intended for
this use case.

People don't use their old hardware for as many different things, as
they use their new machines. All they want to do ar some relatively
simple tasks:

* Store and Play Music.
* Sync it with their main machine and external USB media.
* Eventually use it for email.
* Eventually enable visitors to use it for browsing the web, without
having to give them access to their workhorse.

All of which Ubuntu-Mobile does or will do.
