Heya,

 Kyle poked me on installability issue of
 gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse on lpia this WE. Steven handed:

<https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gst-plugins-bad-multiverse0.10/0.10.5-1/+build/364774>
 which shows gst-plugins-bad-multiverse0.10 seemingly waiting for a
 build.

 First, I saw "Missing deps: libx264-dev", so I went looking for x264
 build statuses and found:

<https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/x264/1:0.svn20070930-0.0ubuntu2/+build/459260>
 but couldn't find the lpia binaries in
 <http://ports.ubuntu.com/pool/multiverse/x/x264/>.

 This was due to a wrong archive override which was fixed by Martin Pitt
 this morning. The binaries were installed in universe instead, but
 this shouldn't have prevented the build, and indeed, the *latest*
 version of the gst-plugins-bad-multiverse0.10 source did build on lpia:
 <https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gst-plugins-bad-multiverse0.10/0.10.5-3/>

 I hope this helps your issue.

 Please let me know if it's still missing / uninstallable and in which
 $dist; the APT message is nice to have as well as the version of the
 binaries you're trying to install.

   Cheers,
