I didn't see a general announcement about this yet on either the
ubuntu-mobile or the moblin development list, but we now have the MIC
menlow-lpia-ubuntu-hardy-ppa and menlow-mccaslin-ubuntu-hardy-ppa
platform configurations pointing to the new hardy snapshot.
So.. we now have the configuration (hardy snapshot + ppa) that we agreed
to use at the sprint.
With that said... I tried to create a new project/target, which worked
fine till I started installing fsets. The breakage I am seeing is that
moblin-applets is depending on libxklavier12 (an auto dependency, not
something explicitly listed in the control file), but the snapshot only
contains libxklavier11, so the install fails.
I can also see that hardy does contain libxklavier12, leading me to
believe that the ppa is building off hardy instead of the hardy
snapshot.
Is this correct? Is the PPA building off hardy instead of the snapshot?
If it is then we will see this kind of install time breakage over and
over as hardy evolves between snapshots.
