I have tried the LiveCD functionality on Samsung Q1 (Mccaslin) and it works.
I haven't tried testing it extensively though.

BTW... you don't have a USB key handy? It's so much easier to deal with
then burning CD's and using USB CD drives.
Or... are you saying the eeepc BIOS doesn't support booting off a USB
key? I have an eeepc but have never tried booting off a USB key... I
should just give it a try.
