I generally do development on an Ubuntu workstation, and produce a
package that will carry any required depndencies. After compiling for
the lpia architecture, the resulting binary package may be installed
for testing on a target device.

While there are some components for which reuse or modification is
restricted, the interfaces to thes compnents are typicaly open.
Affected components may be identified by their location in the
archives: specifically packages in the restricted and multiverse
components may have restrictons_and need careful review of licensing.
