Hi Donald, So we already chatted on https://github.com/canonical/cloud-init/issues/4302 but I wanted to also follow-up here. In my testing I have been able to autoinstall with nocloud-net and a url with the 22.04.3 iso, and I can produce the failure if I add a h=hostname to the end.
In your testing you mentioned that removing the h= argument was not enough to get you working. If you'd like to still debug that, then I'd like you to file a bug at https://bugs.launchpad.net/subiquity/+filebug and we can collect logs and look further. But given that I can do an autoinstall with `ds=nocloud-net;s=url` I think a respin is the wrong approach. -Dan On Mon, Aug 14, 2023 at 11:11 AM Ledford, Donald <ledfo...@umkc.edu> wrote: > > Hello, > > Apologies for posting to the list, I couldn't find a place that seemed > suitable to report a bug about a release ISO. > > The 23.2.1 cloud-init package included in the official 22.04.3 live server > ISO released on 08/10 includes this bug: > https://github.com/canonical/cloud-init/issues/4302 > What are the chances there is a re-release of the 22.04.3 live server ISO > with the 23.2.2 cloud-init package that fixes the bug, since this breaks > deployment flows that use the ISO and a nocloud or nocloud-net datasource? > > Thanks, > -Donald > -- > Ubuntu-release mailing list > Ubuntu-release@lists.ubuntu.com > Modify settings or unsubscribe at: > https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-release -- Ubuntu-release mailing list Ubuntu-release@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-release
