Thank you very much for submitting this bug!
It looks like this error could be caused by some modification or
incompatible parameter in smb.conf between the version you upgraded and
the latest one, although there's not enough data to be able to confirm
or deny this.
Could you please add your smb logs to the bug? They reside in
/var/log/samba
Once they're uploaded could you please mark the bug as "New" again so it
can be reviewed?
