I suggest you ask whoever provided this > release. Alternatively try current master, a recent GCC and GDB. We tested the same GCC (4.7.1) and GDB (7.6) on eglibc, which has no such problem. So we suspect that it is caused by uclibc. But we didn't test the latest version of uclibc. We will test it later.
