Hi! Today I played with translations for Winamp. I found out that there are a number of language packs available. They are contributed by native speaking users of Winamp.
This is both good and bad news: good: a translation exists and can be installed bad: not every translation can be installed unattended. This is the case for the german (D'oh!), the frensh and the spanish translation. The german and frensh display some message boxes and wait for answers, the spanish one ignores the "/S"-switch completely. I decided to include the download-urls for these packages, but to add an underscore "_" to the filename so they do not break the installation. I filed a bug report with the german translation. Unfortunately I do not understand frensh nor spanish and so I am unable to understand the website of these translation projects. So please, dear frensh/spanish reader, send the author of the translation a mail and aks him to fix his installation routine. They all use the NSIS installer (not surprisingly :-)) so there is little to do to fix that. Thanks! cu Niels -- A: Weil es die Lesbarkeit des Textes verschlechtert. F: Warum ist TOFU so schlimm?
