Hi! Today, Microsoft released DirectX 9.0c.
Currently, only the redist-package is available but that is exactly what we want. But the good news is: they donated us a silent installation. The information, how that works, is available only to Microsoft Volume License Customers .... and to people who can use "strings": dxsetup /silent /installmanageddx I've updated win2ksp4-updates.bat, winxpsp1-updates.bat, winxpsp2- updates.bat and ws2k3-updates.bat (removed the DX9b-Security-Update as well). Unfortunately I was unable to figure out how the installation can be started out of the download file directly, the "/C:"-switch does not work as advertised. So you have to unpack it like before. Maybe somebody has more luck than me, any corrections are highly appreciated! The files /%winlang/directx9.aut seem to be needless, but I leave it to Patrick to remove them because I do not want to be overhasty. cu Niels ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
