Hi,
I have a Epox EP-9NDA3+ motherboard in a new machine, whose onboard network card is referred to in Windows (preloaded) as "NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller". I'm not sure if this is helpful, but again in Windows the 'Driver File Details' lists NVENETFD.sys and fdco1.dll
Upon booting up with the current linux boot disk, I get this: *** eth0 not found *** eth1 not found *** eth2 not found Failed to obtain DHCP lease. *** Dropping to shell
I gather that means there isn't a driver that matches. Someone has also told me the network card is a 'Giga Network card' which I gather just means it's a gigabit card.
Hopefully this is enough detail for anyone who is willing to sort this out.
Cheers, Greg.
