We are using unattended to clone a large number of laptops in our organization and we ran across a bug which I hope can be resolved. The model is a HP laptop HPNX6110 and halfway through the installation, where windows files are being copied to the hard drive, the script exit indicating that the cpu has reached a critical temperature and shuts the laptop down. It is not consistent for some of them do not do it, a fail rate of 1 in 5. Installing the OS manully does not recreate the error. The temperature indicated is not correct because the fan is not on and furthermore a temp of over 100 C is not realistic. We've upgraded the bios, and it does not solve anything. I can try to be more specific with the error but it slashes so fast and shuts down that we cannot get the whole thing.
it has something like openvt shutting down cpu reached critical temperature 102C. It obviously is not hot by touching it. If someone has come across this or know if its something the freedos utility is causing please help. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
