none of both problems are my concern. what I have got in mind is a
solution that works for everyone.
I could unzip the files, but for each release, I have to remember to
unzip them again.
What I like is to use the prepare script so I know that all the programs
have been update, and as long as I add " officeop.bat" on the scripts
openoffice gets installed.
Sorry, I think I was completely mis-understand what you mean. There was a release package (a zipped package) of 7-zip which only contain the command line exe. I think adding this exe to the server will perfectly work.
