Hi,
I have been looking at the windows update patches and I found out this
little form "Search by Product/Technology and Service Pack" on:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.aspx

If you select Windows xp pro , Service pack2, just Critical, important
update. The Result set is 118.

More or less 118 is the amount of updates that we actually hold. But if
you click on " Show only bulletins that contain updates that have not
been replaced by a more recent update " the result set is 68!

Is this means that only those 68 updates are needed and the remained 50
updates are a waste of time?

This change would reduce the amount of time needed to build the systems.

This is all new stuff for me, if you know a bit more please expand this
info.

Cheers,
Juan
