In the linux/Makefile, there is a line like
ifneq ("$(strip $(wildcard /usr/bin/genisoimage))","")
however, the binary 'wildcard' isnt on any of the ubuntu systems I've
looked at, and this was a ubuntu/debian related fix from what I could
tell.
You can replace this with
ifneq ("$(which genisoimage)","")
