You are basically asking if we can do "Add New Hardware" from a script. I do not know, but I like the idea! I have always hated the $oem$ mechanism... This way, we could use $oem$ for network drivers and nothing else. Even display drivers could be installed from the network later. And any driver could be updated on a running system. I really like this idea. If only I knew how to add hardware in unattended mode... I will do some research this weekend.
