I'm using a Windows 2000 SP4 as filehost (will change to WinXP with new
hardware some day ;))

Ah.. ic, it was my fault!
I just tested the new environment and forgot to move the OS media... so it
bailed out with a failed OS media search.
I've moved my customised scritps and some packages and it seems to work fine
now.
