Hi,

I just downloaded and compiled the actual unattended from cvs and ran into a
problem:
Compilation etc. worked fine (except for some warnings) and it created my
pxe-image.

But when that Notebook (also a VMware) boots from that image, it can't
resolve the DNS of my server.

*** Trying mount.cifs \\ntinstall\install\ /z -o username=guest,ro,nocase
...

When I try to ping it from this machine, it works fine:

Ping ntinstall [192.168.0.20] mit 32 Bytes Daten:

Antwort von 192.168.0.20: Bytes=32 Zeit<10ms TTL=64
Antwort von 192.168.0.20: Bytes=32 Zeit<10ms TTL=64

A ping from the 2nd unattended console just says:
ping: bad address 'ntinstall'

If I override it and enter the the IP - it works fine.

So hostname is set correctly and DNS-Server is working but why doesn't
unattended get it?

Regards
 - Christof
