I have two machines to test cvs and unattended-4.8
- An old PC
- An Dell Optiplex 755. (I tried two Dell, with bios release A04 and A04
and the problems are the same)
I try to compile cvs and unattended with two computers:
- FC4: glibc-2.3.6-3 and kernel-2.6.17-12142-FC4
- CentOS5: glibc-2.5.18.el5_1.1 and kernel-2.6.18-53.1.14.el5

Network driver and mount CIF: OK

Unattended-4.8:

In all my tests, the network driver for Dell 755 never works.
It's strange, it works for many people
More strange.
I compiled unattended-4.7 with a patch for the e1000 driver and a patch
for using
nt5x-install, and it works fine.
Could some one tell me what are the good options (or the good version of
packages)
to compile CVS or unattended-4.8
