I'm not sure what you mean by 'join a group' - But joining a domain can be done
in several ways. Here is my preferred method:
I do this using a very simple unattend.csv and unattend.txt config
In unattend.csv, point machines at an unattend.txt file:
For example:
Default,FullName,Domain1 XP Pro PC
Domain1 XP Pro PC,UnattendedFile,unattend-domain1.txt
And then in your unattend.txt file (in this case unattend-domain1.txt)
[Identification]
DomainAdmin = {your domain admin account}
DomainAdminPassword = "{your domain admin password}"
JoinDomain = your.domain
MachineObjectOU = "OU=LDAP,OU=Computers,OU=Path,OU=To,DC=your,DC=domain"
You can also put in your meta section:
[_meta]
local_admins="Domain\UserOrGroup;Domain\AnotherUserOrGroup;Domain\etcetcetc"

Subject: [Unattended] Multi site
Hi,
First, thanks you for your soft. It's a big help for me.
I have a question. I want to do multi installation. One join a group and a
second join a domain.
I saw that this function is written in unattend.txt. but I don't know how to
have the choice at start of install for join group or domain.
I can use unattend.csv but I have a lot of computers, so is there any
possibility to do that without unattend.csv ?
Thanks you again
Best regards
Thomas
