I have created a new list on yahoogroups called "Unicode Character Manipulation" (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CharMan/).
The purpose of the group is to provide a place for discussion of character manipulation issues, since text handling is not part of the Unicode charter. Sample topics might be character display color, ligation, rotation, font development challenges, input method implementation, etc. If you have an interest in this topic, please join. Hopefully the list can act as a pressure valve, as fed up Unicodies can point those who want to talk about non-character-specification issues to it.
