This is a script I have been using for years without any problems.
Unfortunately I do not have time to
investigate this particular problem - I had hoped there would be some
simple malformation in my input
that I could look for.
I have moved the files to a different folder and now the script works. I
have no idea why, but I am not asking.
Since the source file is old I expect it has to do with versions and
dependencies etc.

Runtime error 214, input output error, occurs in about a dozen places
in the runtime system. About half of them are errors that are reported
by the zip compression libraries. Others are generated when the
standard I/O error flag has been set, as reported by ferror().
I agree with Bruce that identifying which I/O function(s) or
operator(s) produce the errors might help us to investigate and give
you a more specific diagnosis.

Hello -
I am seeing this runtime error, but all the Unicon book says about
it is
that it is an input-output error.
What exactly would cause such an error?
