Thanks Fernado, The unionfs-2.3.3_for_2.6.18.8.centos5.diff.gz really help! All the patching problems that I encountered on my previous message are gone. Now I am running into a compile problem. Here is how I get here:
1. Patched my rhel5 (kernel 2.6.18.8.el5) with the unionfs-2.3.3_for_2.6.18.8.centos5.diff.gz 2. make menuconfig and set unionfs to M and the two suboptions (unionfs extended attributes and debug unionfs) to enabled 3. make The make command failed with the following error: ....... CC fs/splice.o CC fs/sync.o make[1]: *** No rule to make target `fs/stack.o', needed by `fs/built-in.o'. Stop. make: *** [fs] Error 2 -----Original Message----- From: Fernando A. P.
