The annual Flea Mall will be held inside the restored Auditorium at St.
Francis De Sales on Saturday 10/19/02.
If the Weather is good, there may also be some booths on 47th Street and
in the parking lot.

The doors open at 9 AM and close at 3 PM. Visit thrice -
Morning provides variety and a shot at the unique items
        Noon is for nibbles
        Afternoon debuts slashed prices.
There is parking for quick drop-off or pickup at the Church lot on
Farragut Street between Springfield and Baltimore 46th and 47th.

It is a great event on many levels:
        1) Tables are available - for fun and profit.
        2) Flea Donations (and $) are accepted on behalf of St. Francis De Sales

                at tables managed by volunteers.
Tax Deductions and a good cause are added reasons to de-clutter.
        3) There are always great bargains.
In addition to neighborhood "Fleas" there are:
                New items,
                Craft items and even
                Plants
brought by professional venders who reserve tables every year.
        4) The food is wonderful.
Parishioners donate labor to cook Hot Dogs and serve Beverages.
Neighbors donate homemade Cakes (sliced or whole) and Cookies.
        5) It is a "happening". The convergence of families and singles is
amazing.

So please put this event in your calender.

If you'd like to reserve a table ($25.00), call:
        Ruth - 386-1406
        Pat - 382-3497, x 215

If you prefer to clean your house and donate items to St. Francis De
Sales, please drop items off before 5 PM on Friday afternoon October
18,2002. Ruth and Pat will try to accommodate other times for delivery
of donated items to their porches or for larger items by appointment to
open the Auditorium.
While there are still 31 days, there are only FOUR (4) Weekends to:

        Empty the closets
        Lighten the loads
        Reduce the redundancies
Exchange dusty objects for dusted space

All the best!
