PLEASE PARDON DUPLICATES. THIS post was REJECTED FROM SOME LISTS BECAUSE
OF a PHOTO ATTACHMENT. IF ANYONE WANTS A PHOTO OF YEHUDA, PLEASE REPLY
PRIVATELY.

Yehuda Alhaadi Neal is only 16 (born 8/18/88) but he is 6'4" tall so
might pass for older.
He is a good looking kid, with a slender, athletic build and size 14
shoes.
His skin tone is a medium brown and he has short black hair, beautiful
eyes and a great smile.
He has a round scar (from acne?) on his forehead.
He recently obtained a tattoo of Christ on his left forearm.

He is an intelligent boy and a good athlete.
In elementary school (SFDS) he did well at track and basketball.
He continued with basketball as a high school freshman.
He is generally very quiet and polite.

He has been missing since Monday evening, 1/3/2005.
His mother and sisters, Jessica and Jennifer, are growing progressively
more worried.
Recently Yehuda seems to have been struggling in the process of
separating himself from his all female family.

It is very likely that Yehuda "ran away".
He was recently transferred to West Phila High School and was not
entirely happy with the change. On Monday, he "borrowed" $20 from each
of several friends plus an army-green knap sack from another. He took
most of his favorite clothes and the cell phone he obtained by working
after school. He did not take his asthma medicine, and his mother fears
he may be in denial about the need for it. For months he has been
expressing a desire to "go to California".
Misunderstandings notwithstanding, Yehuda is missed.

A "Missing Persons" Police Report has been filed.
Yehuda's mom, Susan Neal, lives at 48th and Cedar.
She asked me to post this notice to our neighborhood lists.
She thinks he may be hiding out, locally, with the help of friends.
I think that true friends might want to protect themselves and Yehuda by
dialing 911 and engaging a cycle of help for this boy and his family.
Other than the recent lies that he used to borrow money from willing
friends, there is no suggestion of any crime or drugs. But, there may be
indications of depression, frustration and fear, emotions that should be
addressed.

Yehuda is a good kid and a lot of people want the reassurance of his safe
return.
His mom and the police are trying to determine how much money he had (how
far can he go, how long can he eat?). So, if you gave him money (earned
or lent), please let them know. If you heard or hear anything about his
plans or motives, please share the information with his mother and the
police. If you see him or know where he is, please share the information
with proper authorities.

I apologize for sending the attachment to all, but this is a good child
who may be headed for trouble, and if he is recognized and helped, wasted
digital memory is a minor worry.

And, if you can do nothing else, please keep Yehuda and his family in
your prayers.
Susan and her family are active in their church.

Thank you for any help that you can offer.
