DId you see the front page article in the Inquirer on Tuesday? As part of
its series on the Curtis Institute,
the paper featured Play On, Philly!, the wonderful music program at St. Francis
de Sales School, under the direction
of Stanford Thompson. The article continued with a full two-page spread inside
the front section about it.
You can see and hear for yourself how impressive the student orchestra is
- this Saturday, December 10 at
2 PM in the school auditorium (917 S. 47th St., at Windsor Ave.), the students
will present their Holiday
Concert, under the direction of guest conductor Rossen Milanov, who has
conducted the Philadelphia
Orchestra at the Mann. The concert is free. Come and be enthralled!
