Yes, it supposed to be a drop-in migration. We got some reports that it can break backward compatibility in some cases, there is a not about that in a bulletin https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/WW/S2-057 We are working on Struts 2.3.36 to eliminate that problem.
