The Cassandra team is pleased to announce the release of Apache Cassandra version 3.0.13.
Apache Cassandra is a fully distributed database. It is the right choice when you need scalability and high availability without compromising performance. http://cassandra.apache.org/ Downloads of source and binary distributions are listed in our download section: http://cassandra.apache.org/download/ This version is a bug fix release[1] on the 3.0 series. As always, please pay attention to the release notes[2] and Let us know[3] if you were to encounter any problem. ** This is the first release of RPM packages for Apache Cassandra ** The project would appreciate your feedback on any issues you might find in the JIRA ticket for tracking RPM improvements - there are a few known issue sub-tickets started from initial testing: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-13433 http://www.apache.org/dist/cassandra/redhat/ will have versioned directories similar to the Debian packages. The 30x directory is a yum repository and although the repomd.xml is gpg signed, but an install test on CentOS7 complained the package is not signed. The following /etc/yum.repos.d/cassandra.repo file should be functional, and we'll work on repository signing.
