[gradle-user] gradle stopped working with 'Could not select the default project for this build'

Hi,

I am really stuck now. I have used gradle successfully for a while,  
but it just stopped working with the following error message:

>gradle eclipse

FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

* What went wrong:
Could not select the default project for this build. No projects in  
this build have project directory '/users/pvoss/myproject'.

* Try:
Run with -s or -d option to get more details. Run with -S option to  
get the full (very verbose) stacktrace.

BUILD FAILED

Total time: 2.099 secs

I think I have deleted ~/.gradle before. When I checkout the project  
on a different machine everything works fine. There also is an issue  
which seems to be related to this problem:

Any ideas what I can do to get gradle running again?
