Hi-
I just wanted to send a follow-up since I didn't get any responses to my message below.
Is there any plan for xdoclet2 to support Java 5 language features such as Generics and Annotations?
I would like to generate java classes with type-parameters (generics) using Java 5-style annotations.
Thanks,
Adam

Hey Guys-
I love the idea of xdoclet2. However, I would prefer to be able to annotate my classes using standard Java 5 annotations -- not javadoc annotations.
It would be great if xdoclet2 would support either type of annotation without requiring the template developer to make the distinction... From the qdox documentation, I don't see any support for Java 5 annotations (just DocletTags from javadoc).
Is there any plan to support Java 5 annotations in the future? If not, can you recommend any tools other than Sun's APT for generating code based on these annotations?
Thanks,
Adam
