Note to the SOGo Groupware Team
Is this the Standard behavior of the SOGo ActiveSync Module On Android Devices.. Have Noticed that the Device will NOT start Sync'ing Contacts Until a Contact is Added To the Address list from the Device First i.e. 1. Setup the Active Sync Connection 2. Let it Sync the Mail and Calendar 3. Contact Will Fail To Sync (even though SOGo Service end Data (Contact on Device will show "No Sync History) 4. Create a "dummy" or an actual Contact 5. Manually Sync the Contacts (Device will Report Last Sync'd Date/Time) 6. Then You will need to Edit Contacts from the SOGo Website 7. Contacts Will Start Syncing Properly I'm using a Dail Build that is a Few Days Before the v. 5.10 release I have had to do the Steps with Multiple Android Devices (Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S23) Rob Himics r...@himicsfamily.com From: Rob Himics <r...@himicsfamily.com> Sent: Sunday, February 25, 2024 9:15 PM To: users@sogo.nu Cc: r...@himicsfamily.com Subject: RE: Android Contacts issue Importance: High I'm Having an Issue with Syncing Contacts With an Android Phone via EAS ActiveSync Contacts are NOT Showing up. I do see the Request from the Android Device and the Response from the SOGO service for Syncing Contact. The Sogo Service is Sending the Contacts, But that Android Client is not Receiving / Processing them Active Sync works for Outlook 365 Clients (Emails / Calendar and Contact) Android is Only Getting Emails and Calendars. Contacts Are being Sent but Not being Processed on Android Thanks for any help Rob Himics r...@himicsfamily.com <mailto:r...@himicsfamily.com>
