Sounds odd. Is there some way for you to create a reproducible example
and attach it to a JIRA issue?
I have created the testcase - not in JIRA yet. Please download bundles
from http://martin.dev.mwaysolutions.com/bundles.zip. You will see the
exception when running with Felix Framework 3.0.4. With 3.0.2 there
will be no exception.
Source code of the testcase is here: http://pastebin.com/SaMeXZkm
Do me a favor, in your 3.0.2 installation edit the log level in
conf/config.properties to be 4 and rerun your scenario. Do you see any
exceptions? I do.
As far as I can tell, the exceptions are normal because those classes
really aren't in the bundle in question. In 3.0.4 all the bundles start
(i.e., they are all ACTIVE). I think the difference is that 3.0.3/4 now
log the exception when log level is ERROR, where before it was a finer
log level.
I haven't precisely determined why this logging change occurred, but we
did make some modifications to how we do logging. If this is actually
the case and there is no other errors, you can open a JIRA issue if you
think this error shouldn't be logged at this level.
Let me know.
