All the examples I see on the net show that the left most column is the one used as the Search Criteria?

In my formulae all state the range from column B, being the left most column and include the columns to the right as the one who data I am seeking when a match is made in the left most column.

SO NOW I HAVE A DATE IN THE LEFT MOST AND RIGHT MOST COLUMN?
