Hi Steve, normally docx opened in a few seconds in LO.
Try LO7.4. - there the support for DOCX is much better than in LO 7.3 Can you share the docx? I have received a 2 page document (.docx) that takes about a minute to open in LO 7.3.6 and has some of the items somewhat misplaced (problems with anchoring). It opens and prints fine in an online viewer which also produces a PDF which thankfully I can edit in Draw. Is this still quite common opening docx in Writer?
