take a look at the following ("Enabling IPv6 in MacOS (10.1.3)"). http://www.kame.net/newsletter/20020322/ i (and multiple people around me) use the modified kernel in daily basis, and experienced no problem. the real trouble kicks in when you try to build programs with IPv6 support - libc contains buggy getaddrinfo(3), and there's no getnameinfo(3) nor inet_pton(3). also you'd need some proxying tool like wwwoffle to browse web over IPv6 (i haven't tried rebuilding mozilla from scratch, maybe worth a try). as apple mentions IPv6 and IPsec in this year's WWDC program, i hope the situation to change sooner. i really hope to see MacOS X shipped with IPv6 enabled by default. http://developer.apple.com/wwdc2002/descriptions.html#803 itojun --------------------------------------------------------------------- The IPv6 Users Mailing List Unsubscribe by sending "unsubscribe users" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
