All,

I am attempting to set up a 6to4 tunnel from my internal network through my
OpenBSD firewall system, and have a few questions for the experienced people
here.

I have been seeing conflicting instructions, so thought that I would ask for
help instead of breaking everything by following wrong instructions ( the
experimental approach! ).

Do I need to do an "ifconfig gif0 create" or just the tunnel statement?

Where do I put all of this configuration? ( rc.local? )

After configuring manually, and ifconfig seeming to show the correct values (
oh, yes, another question -- on the tunnel, do I use the "192.168.." address,
or the address that shows up on the other side of the cable modem? ) I attempt
to run rtadvd, pointing into the local network, but it complains that "vr0:
host not found". I set up rtadvd.conf with the address block that I was
assigned by my "ISP", in the vr0 section.

At least two of the internal ( Debian Linux ) boxes appear to be correctly set
up as hosts, with /64 addresses showing in ifconfig. ( automatically generated,
as far as I know )

I think that'll do for the first round, thank you.

Brian
