Hi,
I've been using Kannel with a mobile phone to send SMS's. I have a
question
on using a phone as an SMSC. I understand how to set the phone up to send
messages without problem, as well as receiving SMS messages which are
sent to the MSISDN of the phone attached to my serial port.

Im curious if it is possible to set the system up so that I can act
as an SMSC for other phone numbers as well.
Lets say I have three phones, A, B and C.
Phone A is attached to my serial port on Kannel.
With phone B in my hand, i would like to set its SMSC setting
to phone A, and send an SMS to phone C so that kannel
can process it. (assume phone C also has its SMSC setting
set to phone A).

Should this work ? Can a regular handset communicate as an SMSC
over the air ?

thanks alot.

Josh
