I have been trying to compile Kannel gateway version 1.0.3 with Mandrake 8.0 and I have run into trouble. When I follow the instructions in the users guide, I can run the ./configure bit and it seems to run nicely with no problems. but when I try to make it, I get the following linker(?) error:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lz collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [gw/bearerbox] Error 1 So, who is lz ?) my ld version is 2.10.91, if that is any help. Ilari Mikkonen
