hello, there is two way to make localisations : - from the terminal, you ask for cellid, lac and you send it to a server - from the network, the operator get the localisation from the BTS and HLR. on this case, the information is not always update, in case the mobile didn't make a call or send sms for a long time. So the operator must force the update to track the last position. hope it helps
