I've not tested it in 3.0.

I just can tell that it works of for me under 1.5.1 and 1.5.4, but
under 1.5.1 there is an issue as LCR ignores the hostname field in the
gw table (in fact it is not displayed when performing the MI function
to get the gw list). But I hav eno problem of extra-branches and so.
