Correct. Most filesystem types on Unix or Linux will be case-sensitive. NTFS (on Windows) is case-preserving but case-insensitive: if you name a file "cAmElCaSe" it will remember the capitalization, but will give you that file even if you ask for "camelcase" or "CamelCase" or "CAMELCASE". -- Mark H.
